Installation at the EXPO 2010 Shanghai
For Tony’s Farm playze designed and realised an installation at the EXPO 2010 future technologies pavilion. The content is the explanation of organic food production and the biological cycle needed for such a production. The artificial landscape contained all this information and the plants were growing during the exhibtion inside this landscape.
The design is parametric. The production is handcraft. For the planning of more than 400 pieces of this installation, computer aided drawing methods were applied (paramteric design software). The design and the shop drawings were done in Berlin,
sent over to China and the contractor realised the installation with classic production methods, which means without computer aided production methods, such as cnc machines etc.
