The current thematic issue of Hochparterre focuses on the urban development of Birsstadt. For this vision, ten municipalities have joined forces and developed shared planning instruments to coordinate regional development. A central element of this effort is the Open Space Concept Dreispitz, which we had the opportunity to contribute to with a focus on urbanism.

In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team led by S2L, we developed a strategic concept that outlines how the 50-hectare area can transform over the coming decades into a pioneering urban district with high-quality open spaces.
