For our studio in Basel, located in St. Alban-Vorstadt, we are looking for an

ARCHITECT or ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTSPERSON specialising in Architecture (EFZ) (80-100%)

What you can expect

You will become part of a small, dedicated team with an open and friendly working atmosphere. Together, we develop and realise ambitious building projects at various scales – from the initial concept idea through to implementation.

Our current projects include:

• A residential and commercial building in the heart of Basel’s city centre
• An event hall at Dreispitz
• A project for collaborative living and working on a former industrial site in Laufenburg
• The renovation and transformation of two apartment buildings in Allschwil
• Residential buildings in Oberwil
• A home for people with support needs in Hochwald

A particular focus of our work lies in innovative solutions in timber construction as well as the reuse of existing buildings and building components. Our timber construction competence team PLAYZE Timber in Berlin develops forward-looking concepts for living and working together with industry partners – this expertise also directly flows into our Swiss projects.

What you bring (as an architect)

• Completed degree in Architecture (FH/ETH/TU) or comparable training with relevant professional experience
• At least two years of professional experience
• A strong design sense and understanding of construction processes
• Experience in timber construction as well as knowledge of BIM (Revit) are an advantage, but not a requirement
• Good German language skills

What you bring (as an architectural draftsperson)

• Completed training as an Architectural Draftsperson (EFZ) or equivalent qualification
• A strong design sense and understanding of construction processes
• Experience in timber construction and knowledge of BIM (Revit) are an advantage, but not a requirement
• Good German language skills
